anyways back on track, i want to get the most power spending the least amount of money on it?
i bought it for 6k, so i have 3k in me pocket for it, another 3 coming for selling my car, so i have 6k all up.
I dont want to go huge, just simple low budget mods to gain maximum power.
extractors, and a full custom exhaust set up is my first choice.
now, give me some ideas! and rough prices etc etcthanks.
If it was me I'd only be spending money on a 3.7:1 ratio LSD and the exhaust, In my opinion you wont be happy with money spent on engine upgrades, have you thought about a L67 conversion or L67 top end swap? - cheapest/easiest way to really wake up them up is with some boost!

With that budget I would go:
Cam
LSD
CAI
Manifold and plenum spacers
Headers & Catback system
Memcal
Tune
So far I have done the exhaust & memcal and I already have a noticeable difference in torque
I agree with someguy360, only I would decide whether to get a memcal or a tune. No point getting a memcal if your planning on a custom tune really. To save time, just go to MACE and ask for one of everything
Maybe set aside some cash for a heavy duty clutch too.
I think people are getting memcals and tunes confused here

i was definitely keen on a CAI and a stage 2 cam, maybe.

along with pacey extractors and a full custom 2 1/2 exhaust
BODY mods first I can't handle cars with loud exhausts and a car that looks like it can jump gutters with hub caps all round - then you can throw on some high ratio rockers along with your CAI, exhuast and tune and after all that save your cash for something worthwhile eg. V8 or charger
just my opinion but you do what you feel
if you want stealth p plate mods go 1.98 rockers, ported throttle, manifold spacers and insulators.. And cold air altho that's visible for the cops
As said above mace engineering sell these as do mrc performance. Both do great deals and it all works good, i've used it all first hand from mrc.
save your money wait till your off your Ps. i spent money on all the small P plate mods their great but always leave you wanting more, iv been off my Ps for about 12 months now saving for stroker wish i would have saved my money in the first place. spend money on exhaust and diff gears/LSD
Hey Rexy28, l say smash a turbo on it. Do a bit to the motor then the turbo. Ive got a v6 in a VH an have put a turbo on it. It made 407.3rwhp (300.3rwkw) an its an animal, 4.11's in the arse end an 5 speed manual. Loves melting tires an also nothing better than smashing a VE GTS off the line at the lights haha. Always make me laugh when I read about stage 2 or stage 3 this and that. Without a brand or model this is meaningless.
