    Default possible turbo headers?



    anyone know if the exhaust port spacing is close enough to chop n swap the flange?

    would be good if your talking about cast iron manifolds welding them properly is going to require some special welding rods

    Pub, why would i need special rods? if its stainless (which i doubt) i could still mig weld it, and if its not stainless, it would be regular steel, which i could also weld with a mig.

    I would not even bother with that byfar

    if you got a welder you can wack up a set better then them just take your time i guess

    are they the ones that put the turbo in the middle?

    im not really a fan of middle mount, but i guess for $800, thats pretty cheap. if i get enough money from my tax, ill be getting a set of boost obsession manis, but im not expecting that much money. more like 600-700. so i guess ill have to wait till i get my tax back till i decide.

    this thread was more of a hypothetical, but when you can buy a set of these off the bay for 200bucks plus post, why wouldnt ya?

    the time effort materials is not worth the hastle
    if your gonna do it right do it properly

    and yer it is them ones theres nothing wrong with them people are making real good numbers with them.

    Klampy when i first replied there was no picture for some reason so i didnt know what you were talking about. Looking at them would that put the turbo on passenger side?

    When i get my shit together and get some spare cash for flanges to be cut i'll make a set of maifolds and see how cost effective and how they turn out. ATM i'm spending too much time turbo'ing fords. Gotta get another engine stand to mount the spare motor up aswell

    yea, iv already got my turbo on the car, and the hot side is done except the Xover pipe, already built one steam pipe manifold myself, and the turbo up-pipe, and using a cast iron Dside manifold on the other side, so im mostly done, but iv decided in myself that depending on my tax refund (im hoping for a lot coz iv had a few different jobs this year) that ill just buy a set of Boost Obsessions manifolds to rule out that limitation in the search for power.
