    Default my ecotec v6

    hey guys,
i recently picked up my first car, a 1999 VT. it is mostly stock at the moment. apart from the aftermarket tail lights that i installed. i was just wondering if i could get some advice on what performance enhancing mods i should get. now i know that the car is already quite powerful, but i enjoy doing mods.
    thanks, tyrone

    Default eco mods

Start with external mods like cold air induction, exhaust hiflo cats etc then get it dynoed then if you have the cash you can crack the motor open and get roller rockers aftermarket ecu cam the list goes on just keep in mind if your lumpin over at the lights and a cop pulls up next to you you may run the risk of an instant defect. Cops are really cracking down on cars at the moment, if money isnt an object go straight for a supercharger, your car will look like a sleeper and go like a rocket, best advise tho see a performance shop and tell em what you want . It all comes down to that. What you want and what you can afford. Good luck. :-)

Hahahahahahhaha The best thing I've heard all day..... A stock v6 does not have much power, saying that it's quite powerful is an over statement. As far as mods go 2.5" exhaust, Hi flow cat, extractors, bigger cam, higher ratio roller rockers, double row timing chain and remove the Balance shaft.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

A stock commodore is quite powerful, those who say there not are people who drive one everyday, chances are the op has being driving nothing but pulsars, corollas, lasers ect and then hoping into the big commodore it feels really powerful.
