    Default intake sensor DIY

    hey all,

just wondering if anyone has installed one of those DIY Air Intake mods?
I have seen heaps of them on eBay......so I bought one

It claims to increase HP by up to 20HP......in conjunction with other mods.....of coarse.
Its instructions say to install it into the Air Intake Sensor.....

is it safe, does it work?

Hey mate ignore all the haters

the only problem with them is they generate a lot of heat... what you want is 2 methanol sprays just behind it in the air intake. this will help cool the air and also get you a lot more power because methanol burns better than petrol
generally people run 2 sprays for balance however if you can afford 3 theres a lot more power available

but seriously...all that chip does is make your car think that the air temp is colder then it is therefore it puts more fuel into the cylinders and makes the engine run rich...20kw is an over-estimate...at best i would say maybe 5kw if your lucky
