    Default shift kits

tomorrow im gettin a stage 2 shift kit put into my vs caprice (v6 auto), ive been doing some reading around and seen that getting one put in with the trans over 200,00kms could damage it, im not 100% sure how many k's my current trans has, but the car itself has done 240xxxkms, should i go ahead with it, or just call em in the morning and tell em to cancel, coz last thing i wanna do is stuff the trans in it and have to pay more to get a new one

If you don't thrash the car, there is no point in getting a shift kit.

Yeah no point in getting one then mate..shift kits are if u wanna hold a gear longer, better for hill climbing, and most of all putting the foot down and chirping gears I had minimal mods done to my car and i chirped 1st and 2nd gear with ease so if u can put up with the firm shifts then get it but if u aren't gonna give it some every now and then then don't worry..
