Default double row timing chain - balance shaft removal ???

hey guys. im looking at installing a double row timing chain and anti pump lifters. only running a single row rollmaster and brand new stock lifters, i just wanna push the rev range out a bit more. its a fully built 4.2L pre ecotec with a raptor blower. limited at only 6000rpm. ive heard the stock lifters are only good for a little over 6gz before they start to pump up.
and do i need to remove the balance shaft to fit the double row chain in ??

    cheers

remove the balance shaft and you'll need to block the oil feed to it in the rear.

if you dont want to go to this extent, you can just remove the gear from the balance shaft and leave it there.
