I guess it comes down to what you want from the car. Any factory auto would benefit from fitting a decent converter, especially a modern type converter that nice and tight like the factory one but with a decent flash stall speed when you nail it. Not everybody wants to be driving down the motorway doing 2400rpm because they have fitted diff gears.
For a turbo engine i'd seriously consider keeping the standard diff and fitting a converter with a flash stall speed that's above the rpm point where the turbo starts to boost and let the torque do the work.
Definitely need that LSD though if your ever going to be able to use that extra torque![]()

Nah just the stall. The servos just go with it coz I don't need them either
