sorry for not keeping up to date. its all good. had to get a rear resinator, it was too loud got a small 12" one doesn't sound as good but it'll do. new sensors did there job its running really nice. saving for the dyno, fingers crossed for late feb. i'll put up a vid after that. i made a video but for some reason i couldn't get the picture only sound.
update, was saving for a new clutch book in for the 19th i bought the exedy HD SMF kit, i install some new goodies including, optima yellow top D35, 120 amp alternater, drilled and slotted rotors, red stuff ceramic brake pads and replaced my big 3 with 2 gauge. once the clutch is in it goes back to chip torque for the final tune and dyno.

chiptorque will have one on there youtube account when i get the tune done, i only have a iphone so its shit audio, might get some proper photos done this year. next will be some chrome trim around windows and doors and then its either turbo or supercharger time. clutch install next monday i'll be calling the tuner that day to book it in.
Update time, clutch is all done, its actually smooth and soft compaired to the original. the car is running very nice, called up the tuner booked in for next monday it needs to stay over night![]()
Overnight stay will be to check the cold start? Lachlan really knows his stuff and I think you will be suprised at how much nicer he will make it. He tuned mine too and I am a happy customer.
yea i requested the over night for that reason. cant wait. i'm hoping for 160kw's but i might be disapointed
the car is back home, disappointed with the final dyno results only 143.5kw at the wheels. almost 350nm torque. but its very smooth through the gears and revs. now i need to save for the next mods. thinking supercharger. not sure if chiptorque did a video. i might buy myself a good video camera and make one.
Stop putting it off, just post up a crappy phone vid.

Without rereadind the entire thread, it was cam only? If so its not a bad result.
VT V6 Manual Cammed - YouTube
well theres your stupid video. i hate it. that was recorded the day after install, its had a final tune, new clutch, 81* thermostat, new 120amp alternator, D35 yellow top optima and i did the big 3 upgrade and engine bay tidy up since then.
the 992a is hardly an aggressive cam mate. sorry to say.
Its not a cam that will give you a lot of top end, more so a bit better bottom and midrange. So i reckon to make that power was very good.
Out of curiosity, how long did they spend tuning it?
Hit me up with some reputation points if i've helped you out! (Star in the bottom left!) Cheers!

wow!!!! doesnt sound real beefy with all that work.....
Final tune was 2hrs on the dyno. Runs a very smooth now. They gave it some more revs at idle so it doesn't even sound Cammed. If I did it over again I'd go bigger. But for a daily it's good, very responsive.
Not sounding cammed is possably a good thing. Won't attract any unwanted attention, if you know what I mean.
i felt the same way when i fitted crow cam stage 2 with chip, recond upgraded heads, crow lifters and rods to suit, just give you an idea of how big to go if ever a next time![]()
