Hey guys, im wanting to build my old motor (that should be in car) and put it back in. Im looking to rebuild it. Heres what i have no far (installed on current motor in car): 12mm insulator and spacer, 70mm tb, 81deg thermo, bored, polished and port matched plenum and intake manifold. Exhaust consists of pacemaker extractors to a high flow cat to a 2.5" single muffler exhaust.
Now with all that going onto the rebuild engine im then getting a cam (216°/216° at .050", Intake Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio), Exhaust Lift .317" (.507" lift at 1.6:1 rocker ratio), 111 LSA), stronger valve locks, 105lb springs, viton stem seals and manley valve spring retainers.
Heads will get a reco and the exhaust ports port matched to the extractors as the inlet ports are already port matched to the inlet manifold.
Now that you know what iv got already. I want to rebuild this engine, put all that in and keep it N/A. This is my choice, i could go V8 or FI, but i dont want to, OK?
What im having troubles finding is online stores and such to get all the bearings and flat tops (6MKRY9381S). Engine bearings i can get from a store but its the flat tops i am really having troubles to get ahold of. Iv tried repco, but the highly educated person behide the counter couldnt even use the computer. Or a different option, what other motors (in Australia or overseas) would use the same piston?
And help, feed back or advice would be good thanks.

Your in luck mate, I got all my parts from here, Performance Wholesale Australia - Australia's largest stockist of race parts . So if you don't mind the drive, you can order it all and pick it up over the counter.
I have a thread when I did my Ecotec build, the prices I paid are on this page, Engine Rebuild
