Default vs ute, v6 Ecotech with 300 hp naturally aspirated

I've had an engine built up thats going in my vs (in my profile picture) and its putting out about 300hp, any ideas on running gear I need,
I have pacemaker extractors and a high flow cat, heavy duty cluch and a high prof comp, with some huge injectors..

Mind giving us a list of what's been done? 300HP N/A seems a bit out there. Even more so with you stating it has big injectors.

OT: I would at the least get a Tru trac or similar for it to help keep the traction down.

It's had ported and shaved heads plus shitloads more...
massive cam, not 100 percent sure on the specs pf the cam yet find out in the next few days,
    60thou oversize pistons
    Crankhas been knife edged
Much more stuff I can't recall off the top of my head. I don't have the paperwork with me.
Well the injectors said 440 on the box so I guess that's the size

So has it been on the dyno? If im not mistaken, its just a cam upgrade and new crank (apart from rebuild)?

Um yeah just had a look. All I can see as has been said is crank been touched up a bit and a cam. I think you may be slightly off with your figures and also slightly ripped off. For that amount of money I would expect stroker.

Bloody expensive rebuild. I assume that the cam is ground to wade 1114a specs? This is very similar to what i have done only mine is a VR and after tuning I got 189 RWHP. I am also running ACL race series pistons so a little more compression than standard.

Also says pocket porting on one of the sheets.
Not that it means much and that is a pretty rich build.

Thats a lot of crack and hookers right there

yeah agree pretty rich build cost considering I have just rebuilt an ecotec and parts/machining cost were $3500 I assemble the motor myself so save a few bucks
My rebuild included brand new crank, mahle pistons, acl gaskets, clevitte(sp) bearings, rebuilt heads(new exhaust valves & hardened valve seats for lpg), crow springs, S1 comp cams cam, comp cams push rods, manley retainers, rollermaster double row timing chain, new oil pump, arp main bolts, arp rod bolts, head bolts, new harmonic balancer, extractors, new lifters, block hot tanked/crack tested, all machining and balancing of crank/pistons/flex plate/harmonic balancer, derale remote oil filter, mace manifold spacer, new plugs & new engine mounts think I have not missed anything

Also what sounds odd to me on the parts list is they are using a single row timing chain and chain tensioner - if you do have a BIG cam the chain wont last long before it stretches

Looks and sounds to be an interesting donk there mate. I'm keen to see what sort of HP it makes at the treads

1114a Is a Wade cam if i remember correctly 220/220 @.050. Is reasonable, but not massive. should make some good hp if your combo works well together

I'd also be thinking 300hp would need a bigger thruster 98+ octane drinking almost unstreetable cam with higher compression.

I too have blown my budget on my Utes engine of very similar spec.. (.497" 220/220 @ .050" 112lsa ACL 10:1 pistons etc) and thinking I should have gone bigger with the cam or forced induction.

That's a nice solid rebuild mate, should last a long time and will be a lovely street engine. 300hp at the engine maybe, it should go close probably not enough cam or headwork tho by comparison i have the Wade 1365a in mine, 10.6:1 comp, ported heads, ported manifold etc etc and makes 255hp atw. Either way enjoy it!
