Hey guys,
Im new on here and im just looking for some good advise on L67's and dropping them into manual cars, all feedback would be a great help so i know how to set myself up.
First of all the L67... when choosing the engine is there any significant difference between a vs L67 leading up to a vx L67? And if so what are the differences and can they be upgraded to the older engine to bring it up to spec? is it costly?
Secondly, i have a 02 vy s-pac ute with a 5speed GETRAG box in it,(unfortunately). What are the main issues to look out for while converting it? Ive heard you need to upgrade the flywheel unless you want to be ripping it apart again soon, also clutch and all the rest.... but the main thing i'm getting stumped on is the computer side of things...what has to be done to have it all running sync with the manual and is it very costly to do?
if anyone has done something like this before it'd be great to hear your feedback and some of the problems you came across as i'm just about to dive into the deep end,
