VP diff ratio

hi guys, ive been told by a few people to change my diff ratio to get more acceleration...i just wana know if its worth it, and roughly how much it costs...i want better acceleration and dont care about top speed at all.

yeh would be worth it if you where goin down the strip alot but noraml street driving would use a little more fuel depending what diff ration ya get other that than you can do mods to your engine that would make better acceleration like upgraded throttle body or a twin TB set up does wonders on quick accerlation

yup this is correct, VP's come stock with 308's in the diff, i havent played with mine but have inserted a mini spool and gives me heaps more accaleration off the line and when i snap gears it boots it in the ass, u can really feel the difference, but a mate of mine had the same diff ratio in his VN 5 Litre, he upgraded to a spool and 4.11's which gave him and extra 1.3 secs down the quarter..... makes u think dont it
