1/4 mile time?

Hi what 1/4 mile time would i be looking at with 115 rwkw in a vr v6 calais? It does 0-100 in 7.2 secs? Any ideas?

well i just ran a mate in my vr v6 who have a vn 5.0 with 128rwkw and i was pulling on him and mine does a high 14 at the moment

If you doing 7.2 on a g tech that's messuring 0-60 mph then you'll do about a 15.5 on the 1.4 mile if your really doing 7.2 0-100 km/h then maybe 15.2.

My VN V6 does between 6.95 and 7.2 depending on weather conditions 0-60 mph and runs between 15.3 and 15.55 on the 1/4 mile at 89-91 mph depending on the weather again : ). I Don't think 115kws is enough power to push a VR Calais to 100 in 7.2 but anyway if it does then it'll run the 1/4 in under 15.5

Just to put into perspective how fast 0-100 in 7.2 is. if you accelerate to 100 then stop accelerating and continue driving at 100 you'll do a 1/4 mile in about 17.5 seconds, fast enough to beat alot of early Commodores going flat out the whole way so sad but so true!

Hey, i havnt ran my car 1/4 mile yet but the other day i ran my mate in a vs 5ltr that did 14.6 1/4 mile and i bet it by a car length upto 90 km/h then he backed off coz he was embarrased being beatin by a v6. Does this help determining a a ruff 1/4 mile time?

it's enuf to make me cry VK Station wagon on gas like 18.5

But i still got an XR8 at the traffic lights :w00t: (he was spinning them)

he didn't like that and over took me on a continuous white line just up the road
