    SS inductions CAI

Engine is a stock ecotec modded for LPG.

im looking at the COME kits but is there any other similar quality kits on the market?

there are no other stroker kits out there for the ecotec which have the quality of c.o.m.e.'s ones. there are some other companies that do stroker cranks for the ecotec, both here and the US, but i cant see any reason to not use a c.o.m.e. item.
as for the LPG, i cant see it being a problem, it would obviously bring down the performance of the engine when used...but i see no reason why it wont work.

and i have to ask, are you sure you would want to spend this money on a engine setup for dual fuel? it seems strange and contradictory, lol - having LPG for economy, yet working an engine quite alot for performance which wont see its potential on LPG.

maybe he wants the option of still have a grunty motor but still economical at his own leisure with the LPG. I dont see any real problems with the setup, the LPG setup doesnt interact with the cars ECU AFAIK but the LPG will have to be re-tuned as well as the ECU. The C.O.M.E kit already comes with a re-tuned memcal, so you will only have to get the LPG retuned me thinks

actually the kit from c.o.m.e. doesnt come with any tuning...only the fully assembled engine does (the n/a one for $8800). if you buy either the kit (just crank, rods & pistons) or the short motor (everything but the top end) and you want the memcal you have to pay extra.

Thanks for all your help, I know it seems kinda wierd and extremly contradictory to want a performance lpg engine but its not been done b4 (That I have heard of) and im getting a bit bored with the stock ecotec v6. Plus I love seeing tha look on ricerz faces when u blow them away at tha lights in a LPG v6 seriously priceless! lol

My last car was a blown wb statesman with a blue 308 5ltr in it but with the rising fuel costs I had to sell her. Il prob drop COME a line and see what deal they can do for me,

I was going to go tha forced air induction route but I still want the street drivability and I want to avoid nasty defect notices~

thanks for tha help guys much apreciated

The only thing that should come in 2ltrs is milk and orange juice!

no worries mate, there's nothing wrong with doing it to a car on lpg (ive seen an lpg falcon run low 12's before on the 1/4 mile - was a very serious V8) i was just curious.
if you go ahead you will love the stoker as a daily driver, its an excellent performer.
