I wouldn't advise purcahsing a high-flow cat. For the money you would spend, it's not going to improve much. Standard cats on modern cars aren't that restrictive anyway

MSD coil pack should just fit straight on. Make sure you note where all the spark leads go first, so you don't scratch your head later

MSD coils should come with instructions anyway, no?

Very little if any on a stock motor. But if your OEM coils are shagged, you may aswell replace them with something better if you can get a hold of MSDs for a decent price.

MSD's are almost the same price as OEM coils anyway (within a dollar or 2)so if your OEM ones die might aswell make use of the MSD ones. But yes, all you do is unbolt your factory coils and bolt the MSD ones in their place. However, make sure you do a diagram of the numbers on the coils, as the MSD ones dont come marked, you will need to mark them with a permenant texta.

I've heard heaps of people say you dont need to buy one, i totally agree that stock commodore ones are quite high flow, but, when i firstly got my exhuast done, WildCat Extractors, Cat Back 2.5" Single Muffler Lukey Exhaust. It was a bit droney, i got the high flow 2.5" cat put on and there is no drone any more, sounds sweet. So i spose it just depends, But to power gains there was practicly nothing, and only a tiny bit more efficient. But every bit helps i spose. Hopefully that gives some people some info,

The Vx commodore catalytic converter does flow good. But putting a good quality high flow cat will help with less restriction.
I flow tested the VX catalytic converter and the high flow redback made in Oz
The high flow cat flowed much better. I installed it on my car with a custom y piece and got 4 Kw more.
The less restriction the better for a exhaust system. It all counts mate

ive also heard that msd coils arnt as good as the supercharged 6 factory coils from alot od people. also said that msd coils are a replacement part (being exactly the same) for the L36 factory coils,
thats why i never spent the money on them, they are only red in colour to me.
