Default Carbon blast on s/c v6 is it safe??

Does any body know if the solvents in throttle body cleaner or the wyn's style carbon blaster will wreck the teflon coating on the S/C rotors. I want to do an upper clyinder clean but don't want to hurt me blower, cheers for any info.

I've been doing mine on a regular basis for years and have had the charger apart with no signs of delamination.

hey fellas do the s/c 6 go alright as opposed to the 5litre? its just that in the future im hoping to either throw a s/c6 in the vs calais or a crate LS2! The reason i have considered the s/c 6 is less weight on the front of the car, alot cheaper to do, and i can still use my calais trip computer

Go the LS2 if you can but if the money tree isn't in season an L67 would be cheaper to mod with good economy too. A 5L might be cheaper to buy initially and if you go FI on them they are awesome, depends on your budget.

L67 gets my vote. $10000 of mods will get you into the mid to low 12 second bracket

The all aluminium LS2 is similar weight as a all cast iron NA V6 and the SC V6 is actually slightly heavier so don't use weight as your decider.
Most of the guys doing LS1/LS2 conversions are spending $10k+ so is not a cheap excersize.
If car is already a V6 then the Super6 is the way to go.

ANYWAY, without going to much trouble since itll probably get deleted again???

Dont spray too much throttle body cleaner through the intake at one time, you'll burn things out... give it a few short bursts while the motors running but thats it.
