conversion
hey guys just asking around today about a ls2 motor fitted in a vx v6 drive in drive out was told 7500-8000 max thats my first one but is that price about right thats every thing i need thats for the advice guys
ps is ls2 better than ls1 ?

ls1 conversions on the VP cost like 15k...
ls2 is better than ls1...

where'd you get that quote? i was at just commodore spares last week and they had an ls2 w/ 6speed auto from a ve statesman, 10k, and i think that was parts only. Sounds like a good deal you got there mate

snap it up now! thats a steal mate, crate LS2 motors with autobox alone are 6-7 grand new. To get that installed for $8000 is an absolute bargin!!
check the fine print cus it seems to good to be true

black dimand wreckers i went back to get a written quote and its a ls1 at that price 9500 for ls2 with is a bit crap but is it still worth it

lol Even at 9.5k they won't do an LS2. They're dreaming. Not that i'd trust them to do an LS2 conversion anyway mate.
LS1 in a VX is a much easier swap so im sure they could handle that.
