Dont get it. Get a custom ground cam from Wade or Crow instead.
I have a stage 2 crow cam and it was a waste of $$$ Much better off with a custom grind.

depends what you get from them, their "stage" cams arent anything flash, but doing it properly with a custom grind will be worth it. roller rockers will only give you lift, not different duration and such, and since theres only 1.8:1 rockers available for vn motors, a custom cam is usually the better choice.

As said, custom cam>rockers but definitely get a custom ground cam!
Wade are a pain to contact, you'll have to atleast ring them. Crow are easier via the net and email.

yeh i was only kidding around but i dont really thing its worth it on the v6. it ended up costing me a bit over 4 grand to get my cam including tuning and heads etc. you would be much better off saving a bit longer and getting a raptor supercharger. if ur going to do the work its gonna be cheaper of couse and then its probably worth it.

ull proabably need to get a tune made up. either a mail order own or a real time one on the dyno. i dont think the people that make them will supply u with the memcal.

you dont really want an overpriced mail-order anyway in that circumstance - your better off paying the couple hundred more for a kalmaker tune done in real time on your own engine for better results and the peace of mind that the tune is spot on with the afr's.

On the V6 the fuel ratios hardly change at all with a mild cam and stock heads, they just take a little bit more on the top end but it's nothing huge just adding .5-.8 of a point to the top end will be fine. But go at least the Wade 992a. Which will be anywhere from 120 to 125rwkw on stock heads. 135-140 on good heads and you can add 5-10 for a manual box

Just a Q does a S1 VN to VR take the same cam? i dont think they do, but what about a custom grind cam would a VN s1 fit a s1 VR?
