go to the how to section to learn how to read the error codes. See what comes up and let us know.

go to the how to section and it will explain - its easy, all you need is a paper clip and access to the net (which you obviously have, lol) to find out what the codes mean.
if you disconnected it, did you plug the maf back in (the silver thing in the intake pipe)? i cant think of anything else which you would touch when doing a t/b swap which would stop the car from being started.

Didn't touch the maf sencor, took out the big black flex pipe in between the throttle body and the MAF there are 2 sensors you must unclip and take out of the T/B it self to change there the only things I touched, apart from the vac hoses (2) of course.
All so how will i find out what codes? with out a scanner to plug into the car???

yeah, they're the iac and tps. the car would still start without them working properly. it wouldnt run very well, but it would start up.
i dunno wtf you've done man.
as for the codes, classified calais has linked you in the above post, read it.

Thanks heaps for all your help, was just about to try the paper clip thing, and the RAA man showed up, he had a look over it all, did a few minor tests them put a piece of wire into the holes where he had removed a relay and it turned over? so he said it must be a securiy code, some things not letting it start, then I saw it (BLOODY WIFE) the trans is in 3rd, she can home late last night didn't put it back in park, and I just popped the bonnet and when to work this arvo, when it didn't start I just presumed it was some thing I'd done, so have a laugh boys this ones on me, if ever these a problem go RIGHT back to the start and check EVERTHING, even the basics like the car being in park, have a good night, what a tosser!

hahaha, well at least it wasnt anything majorly wrong then. it wouldnt be the first time someone has tried to start an auto in gear and thought there was something wrong mechanically.
