ive got one of the insulators on my VS. cant say i felt any "seat of the pants" improvement from it and im yet to have it back on my regular dyno to check for gains in torque as claimed.
as for reducing the heat transfer, ive popped the bonnet a few times after driving and the plenum is still heaps ****ing hot, lol. so i dunno that its doing anything there.
im holding off my final judgement till ive had it back on the dyno though, as in theory it should yeld gains from the increase in runner length.

I didn't pick up anything great as a gain on mine, but again like Sircruise O need to dyno it.

Richie Rich on here installed one and dyno showed a large drop in power, he had a subsequent retune and arrived back at same power that he had prior to installing the manifold insulator. He can respond here if he sees this thread.

The greatest gain in heat reduction that I got was from the "Cool Gasket" that I installed under my EGR valve, now that really did work like a champ. Heaps lower inlet manifold temps

it's a Raptor "special", it's a gasket support plate for the EGR valve. stops exhaust heat being applied to the intake manifold.
