would 3.9s lsd bee too much in a vn 6 manual? my mate scored a car for free and it has 3.9s in it and its just been re tightend and the last owner fully rode off the front end.

what do u reckon i would rev at going 100kms? 2600rpm? or more?

thanks.

Most people think it would be a bit high me included. If you dont mind using a bit more petty and changing gears regulary then its ok. Somewhere on this forum there's the ratios for a v6 t5 you can use that to work out your rpm @ 100kph. I think it would be around 2500rpm
Edit
V6 T5 manual Ratios
1st: 3.25
2nd: 1.99
3rd: 1.29
4th: 1.00
5th: 0.72
just use one of those internet calculators to work it out

it all depends what you want out of the car mate, 3.9s will be good acceleration. but u loose alot of top end, but then again it is a v6 when do they really have top end

will make 1st gear very short indeed. could probably use 2nd gear to take off. i have 3.45's and unless i'm standing completly still i can stay in 2nd and it pulls nicely
