Smile LPG Effect on Exhaust Systems?

With lots of people moving to LPG just wondering.

(1) Will an LPG conversion effect the sound of the system? Cause any sound I don't want to hear?
I want to get Extractors/Exhaust fitted.
And Considering LPG.

(2)Should I put the Extractors/Exhaust on first before the LPG conversion?
Basically I want to know that, if I got the LPG first and extractors/exhaust later, will the LPG need to be reconfigured (costing me $$ to reconfigure) due to the new components or won't it matter?

(2) And pain in the ass question...I know its repeated alot. But while I've put a topic up.
What is the best for sound combination for exhaust/extractors?Something deep. Atm I'm looking at getting a lukey and then pacemakers xtractors. (VYII V6 S Pack), or what do you people suggest.

Cheers

Tunj

LPG makes the exhaust sound tinnier... Higher pitched than when on petrol.. petrol has more of a burble & exhaust pop etc.

Does anyone know wether I should fit the xtractors and exhaust on first. b4 the lpg?
What about Genie or HM headers,

I'm pretty sure I'll be investing in a Lukey exhaust, heard good from them.

Definately do the engine work first, then you can get the car tuned on gas and she'll run sweet

Don't get the LPG fitted and there will be no problems.....

Seriously, extractors/exhaust will make 0 difference to the gas.

really? ive never notice that......

mines more droney on petrol but burbles more on gas.. dont know why, but it does :P

(weird thing, is mine only burbles between 2000-3000)

id be more worried about the lack of upper cylinder lubrication when running pure gas, use some additives otherwise you may have premature engine wear after a few years of flat peddling.

As for sound it will sound exactly the same as a commodore running on petrol if the tune is right

yeah, not worried about engine wear and stuff.. I'll be doing say... 3 tanks gas, 1 tank petrol. And I only put premium unleaded in...
I want a commodore because I love my commo. Full stop I've worked all year to pay her off and just want a nice phat car with a nice chunky ass.

But soon I see petrol at 2.00 a litre, if not 2.50. Putting it on LPG may give me similar economy to a 4 cylinder car, while I can still have my chunky ass.

Just a question... Do you think with the production of new hybrids and fuel cell engines, that maybe sometime in the future, you could take your petrol car in, and have it converted to an alternative engine?(electric, fuel cell, water or whatever). Where the old engine is removed and new put in? I don't see myself ever selling my VY.
