Default manaul series 1 to 2

sorry if its already been asked, i can't find it easily....

if you have a manual v6 VN motor/box can you replace the motor with a later series 2 motor.

I assume you can as long as you replace/reprogram the mecal, is that all...

cheers in advance..

No need to change the memcal.

You can replace the s1 with the s2 but you will need an 8 bolt flywheel, cooling setup is different and some minor wiring changes.

It has been covered plenty of times in the v6 development section check out the Crankshaft sticky at the top of the section. You need to either buy an adaptor or buy an 8 bolt flywheel.
