O2 sensor for air box on ecotec
I want to put a pod filter with a custom made cover on it (to make it semi legal). If i wanna get rid of my air box do i have to find a way to incorporate my O2 sensor somewhere else?

its an air temp sensor mate. and yes it must be in place in the intake pipe before the air flow meter. Or else the ecu will get incorrect readings

It's best to be after the filter. Just simulate the factory design thinking and you should be right.

So maybe a custom made pipe leading to my pod filter and making a whole in the pipe to fit the sensor?

Keep the panel filter and airbox and get a Yella Terra intake pipe kit.. It comes with everything needed to set up a big, black 4" pipe to the stock airbox.. You just need to cut out a hole for it.. It works well and wont break the bank..
