Default VT Exhaust Advice needed

I bought a second hand pair of pacemakers and holden 2inch twin high flow cats with Y peice going into 2 1/2 inch single for $250. Im getting it fitted on to my VT V6 soon with my red back exhuast then stright through to a tip. Will this be any better than just my stock exhaust to redback system, power and sound wise?

Its gonna cost me $300 to get the headers and the Y piece fitted, Should i do it?

Thanks Fella's

This exhaust system will allow much better flow than the stock system, a combination of the headers, twin cats, and the catback should see a gain of 5-10rwkw, maybe more depending on other mods.

the $300 is a little high for installation, maybe shop around, but if thats the cheapest then just get it done and enjoy the sound
