CHE have dropped the OTRCAI for a few months for the alloytecs until they can go mafless as they weren't pulling decent gains at all.

Depends on how you do it. I dont have the specs on the alloytec engine bay etc so i cant draw anything up. But if you got a OTR from an ls1, then extended the pipe that leads into the TB and included the MAF you should be ok

Can't you modify a standard OTR intake? There can't be that much difference in room?

What did Castle Exhausts say? Where exactly wasn't there enough room? The CAI was too long, too wide, too tall?

The problem at the moment with the Alloytec is that there isn't sufficient space between the engine and the OTR CAI shute to fit in a MAF.
The LS1's go mafless when using the OTR CAI.
As Mattio said, once someone comes up with a simple mafless tune for the alloytec then using the same OTR CAI as the LS1/2's shouldn't be a problem.

BTA Motorsports has an OTR ready for the VE Alloytec.
You can check it out here: VE Alloytech OTR (It has been completed) - Australian LS1 and Holden Forums
