It wasn't a sc14 on the car tho !, hakky just means the sc14 can work with a clutch like that (stock it does)

    oh dear it's a wieand 14/10 gm root's type.
the clutch setup is the same as an aircon electric/magnetic (but fake in the movie)
as they used a gear shift/range shift of an older type roadranger.

Yeah Im pretty sure the Mad Max 'charger was an enpty unit mounted over a carbie with an electric motor and pulley system to make it appear it could be turned off and on.

Would be a cool thing to see if they could ever figure it out in real time.

Can you put a roots type supercharger on a buick v6?

I've been thinkin about mounting 2 throttle bodies on top of a standard manifold and mounting a supercharger type hat on top, but that's pretty lame.

Is it possible to top mount an sc14 and make it appear like a roots type?

I just love the old school look.

Old school look? scrap your throttle bodies and injection then lol

I've seen a 6/71 on a chev V6 with carbs, looked the biz with the bonnet down, looked a bit small with the bonnet up lol.

The only thing ive seen close 2 that setup would be the YT charger but its only run from EFI but still looks pretty good!

Yeah, as far as I'm aware, it ran an electric motor to run the blower. LOL

I wouldn't bother with being able to turn it on and off. Just run a by-pass valve that opens under vacuum and closes under boost. Just like the factory L67 setup. This will give you better economy during normal cuise modes and full boost under heavier throttle situations. The switch is in the right foot. LOL

    Just do an L67 conversion.

You could run an SC14 blower in the valley, but the cost of it unless you could do the fabrication work yourself would be quite high. Not really worth it imo. Better off going the L67 route with more hp potential down the track.

If you wanted to run a carby setup, you could run a blower like mine.

Whipple have a range of blowers that have what they call radial feed. It's simply a quare bore bolt pattern opening ontop of the blower. You can run them as carby or EFI. I've got a 2000CFM four barrel throttle body sitting ontop of mine with an Enderlie bugcatcher ontop of that.

LOL, yeah. Never thought about that. haha

If that's the case. do the mad max setup. Get an empty casing or a buggered casing. POlish it up and put a window wiper motor inside it. Run an idler pulley under the blower pulley. Ta daaahhh
