Dont know what wreckers you are going to but i would have assumed majority of wreckers would at least have a few early magnas. My local wreckers has about 20 of them with the cream tops.
Why do you need to upgrade the injectors? What sort of power are you making?

Oh ok, well thats understandable, but for a turbo i would be going with bigger injectors than cream tops, depending how much power its making.
Maybe get some GENIII injectors? I think they are some where near the 30lb mark as apposed to 24lb. If your running decent amount of boost you will need bigger than that as well, which you will have to get new or if you keep your eyes open.
Im in Victoria by the way

Cream tops and blue tops both do 24lb/hr as fair as i know.
The place is called Harveys Wreckers, there number is 0359711132.
But surely one near you will have them, just ring around and ask if the have any early magnas with the astron motor that are injected. They should be TP/TR magna's prob other models too

Tell him to get one up him for $50 each, you should be able to get all 6 or even 8 for that.
A while back i priced up the inlet manifold, throttle body, wiring loom, injectors and everything from the same sort of magna, they wanted $55.

magna injectors are no good for boost. i had them and they maxed out as soon as it hit boost. got a dyno chart that shows that too. i bought some 39lb/hr injectors and they were fine, which im selling now

They will eassssily do 8 psi and that's what he wants to run. I'd say your tune was going lean rather than the injectors maxing out

LS1 injectors and Cream tops are both 28 pound so either will do, both will make 250 rwkw + in a V8, they will handle a mild boost on a v6. And I'm sure there are 1000 magnas in the wrecking yards around Melbourne and Sydney if not more :!

But Stocky if they are 21 or 24 why do they give perfect air fuel ratios when set to 28 pound and why do kalmaker say they are 28 pound

nooooooooo well it doesn't really matter, the point is they are cheap, easy to get are bigger than the blue tops and they are about almost identical to LS1 injectors and they are enough for 8 psi on a V6. That's all he wants to run and I don't thnk he wants to spend 300 bucks on big injectors when he might get cream tops almost for free.

I'm doing the tune and it's going to go the most smoothly if he uses cream tops rather than 40 pounders so don't make it harder than it needs to be . If he ends up needing a little more fuel then it's cheaper for him to just run some more pressure
