Default VN s1 alloy rocker covers on later engine

    How?

Do I plug that breather hole, and if so, what with?
Please tell me I don't need to weld it up (can do later if need be)

    Any info appreciated
    Sam

find an appropriately sized rubber bung, put it in.

ive seen some people cut the breather hose with say half an inch left over, and bunging or crimping that.

    just use your imagination

Sounds good. I tried to pull that breather pipe out. Proved a little difficult I was pretty well standing on the cover and pulling on the thing as hard as I dared to... got nowhere. Ah well, 'twas a handy handle for painting

i got a rocker cover in the shed with the hole i welded up if anyone wants it let me know
Was for a my old vp but no longer have it. I only have the one cover so you'd have to find the other yourself. Also cant remember if i cleaned it up might need a little die grinding on inside if it fouls with anything

I will stick with the grommet for now, someone else can have this
If you can't get rid of it soon as you'd like then by all means let me know
