Cam VY

Hay,

I have a VY SV8 6 speed manual that i'm in the process of modding, I was looking at getting a cam package done on it, was just wondering how everything else on the car would hold up. I ave only done full di flippo exhaust system twin 2 1/2, and higgins OTR CAI, mafless tune and everything else is stock. Would it still run fine with cams till later on down the track till i upgrade clutch and diff e.t.c Also cams will be installing are comp cams 228/230 with heavy duty springs etc

Also was wondering if it would be worth wild in getting my heads done as well, and how much performance gain i would achieve and overall running of the car. i'm not looking at any forced induction in the future.

the standard clutch may hold or it may not
some people have luck and it lasts for a while some dont
i did have luck as mine slipped under hard launches
heads are very worth while it will give you more low end torque and smooth the hole thing out
