there are a few stroker kits but but i don't think many, if any come with forged pistons except as a optional extra. costly.

personally i'd go for the 355 stroker. get a holden crank with chev big end journals then you have the complete chev catalogue for rods/pistons avail to use.

hey mate, that looks like a VN V6 s1 coolant reservior. in the pic it looks like there is a hose going side bottom inlet to the top side inlet. and the radiator expansion hose going into the top at the front.

this coolant expansion tank doesn't work in your application as it's pressurised. need to get the proper expansion tank mate. the way it's currently working is that as the engine heats and pressurises the coolant system excess coolant will want to flow into the expansion tank, but because it's sealed it doesn't really allow much. when the engine cools and want to draw coolant back into the radiator but it can't because the hose is at the top of the expansion tank so will only get air. this is bad. it will never allow all the air out of the coolant system

it's hard to see where the hoses go in the pics. need to get a better pic or you need to let us know where the hoses go

the hoses from the reservoir go like this

front top hose goes to overflow????? of the rad
top side hose goes to nothing ie has a bolt in the end
bottom side goes to water pump

and i have noticed it pressurizes like **** the reservoir

ok, they have tried to setup a closed system like a s1 VN V6. does the heater work ( is it hooked up)?

can you put up a pic of the waterpump area so we can see where all the hoses are connected and where they go too.

if they had set it up properly the top hose on the reservior should be connected to the highest point of the cooling system allowing it to self bleed. i.e. you would just top up the reservior, run engine untill hot ( with cap off) and the thermostat opens. top up to the correct level and your done.

because the system is presurised the reservior can't act as a expansion tank like it normally would on a V8 using the radiator cap to control the system pressure.

so we can either try to get this setup working properly or we convert it back to the standard setup

Those mondeo fans look pretty nice, I wish I'd known about them before making my own shroud from Aluminium sheet and cutting out the huge holes with a jigsaw etc that took far too long to be worth it. What year are they from ? "Drift" do a really nice digital fan controller and temp guage, I've got one in my car, you set the temp for fans to start and when temp drops under that by 7 degrees C they stop.
Much nicer than the underbonnet ones, you can override the controller on the go if you need to. Also shows voltage.

Is there room under the front guard to fit the turbo? Does the turbo connect to cooling system or just oil lines?
I've always wanted to fit a turbo at the back of the car, say in the wheel well, so the exhaust manifolds don't need changing. Obviously there are problems doing this but I'd love to know if anyone has seen anything like it.
Perhaps long flexible lines are the answer and the passenger can hold it on their lap.
