    Default making an auto hold gears

    hey lads just a quick one is there a cheaters way to trick my auto in my vn [vs ecotec] to hold gears and not change on its own just need to do a dyno run cause my auto changes into 4th before i can see a good result i have a transpack shiftkit i only need it to not select gears on it own for one run
    tuning done by THE1 A+++++ tuner
    And powering it by MACE
    Build it to handle the MANG

    It will only force the gear change when it bounces of the limiter. And your not going to make any power up there anyway. So just put the shifter in 3rd and rev the tits off it.

    I'm sure the dyno operator will know what to do anyway.

    Disconnect the trans electrical connector will send it into limp home mode locking second or third with the gear stick, not sure if this can damage the box on a dyno tho, it is meant to get you home or to the dealer in the event of an electrical (read solenoid) fault inside the box.

    disconnecting the box will work or most places just use efilive V4 and an aldl cable to command the ecu to hold 3rd gear while on the dyno
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong

    That is, if you transplanted the 4L60e with the motor.
    Not sure howto with a VP box or what have you?
