    Default Exhaust options

    Hey guys,

I have gathered this topic has been covered a gazillion times now, but meh, I'm on my phone using 'tapatalk'. I've got a factory standard exhaust on the vp 5L, and 'whenever I feel like it', I'll change it to a 2.5" hotdog from cutback.

What's the best option for sound vs price exhaust to have made up - im not to phased about extractors, just don't want to have to look in my rear view mirror every two seconds for a cop.

    Cheers

I had a redback 2 1/2" system (including the rear muffler) which sounded great. No need for sound police paranoia either. I still have it if you want to make me an offer. Done about 1000km in the car before I pulled it off (motor change). I live in SE suburbs of Melb.

Yeah, im after a nice note, but not excessive. I'll be renting soon, and dont wanna #### the neighbours off, and dont wanna be paranoid about cops.

To be honoest, I have no idea about prices of exhausts these days, whats ur ballpark figure?
ps: this is for VP IRS too.

Mine is for VP IRS. Was $190 when it was new. Other than the paint being burnt off at the engine end it's as good as new.
