    Default V8 Kframe/Rack issues

    Am in the process of converting my VP to a 5L, have hit an issue.

    My problem is the bolt spacing where the rack bolts on is different on the rack compared to the K-frame. Rack is out of a 92 VP V8 Berlina (Frame was bent in donor car), bolt spacing is ~420mm. K-frame was told it was from a VN but the bolt spacing is ~460mm.

    Anybody have any idea whats going on here?

    be pre VL car id say. When VL came out they changed rack mounting dimesions hence why you can use only a vl manual rack vn onwards

    So will a vh-vk rack mount up to a vp column? Only hit this nightmare after the engine was already in and mounted.\
