Default Ceramic coating extractors for ssv redline ute

Hey guys, just recently bought a brand new 2010 series 2 ssv redline ute.

Got a lukey 2.5" stainless exhaust put on straight after picking it up, now looking at pacemaker extractors 4 into 1's and high flow cats.

Now I will be taking it to the track for a bit of fun occasionally and was wondering if it is worth getting the headers coated to reduce engine bay temps?

    Cheers

my father inlaw got his extractors coated on his 66 mustang and they looked great but cant say weather it made a huge difference.. You could wrap them in headder wrap..

    from pacemaker website:

    CERAMIC HEADER COATINGS
The most advanced exhaust system coating available. It is a very durable ceramic reinforced coating available in a variety of colors. When properly applied it becomes the most effective thermal barrier coating available, increasing performance, while extending component life & has been tested to over 2000 degrees F without lifting, cracking or flaking.

Unlike header wraps, it does not hold potentially damaging heat & moisture around the part. Rather, the surface temperatures are actually reduced, extending the life of the part. When cured, a very effective corrosion inhibiting film is formed that protects the part against oxidation and imparts excellent chemical resistance that further extends part life and enhances

Yeh it was on their web site I seen it, from memory it was about $400 for the pair, so not overly expensive compared to the cost of the full exhaust.

Just wondering if it is worth the extra money..
