    at which stage of an engine would u need to run a hi rise single plane manifold??

    Nope. High rise means revs. Big revs will come with a big cam (and all the other associated requirements like compression). Torque Power now do a high rise dual plane manifold which is getting rave reviews from alot of engine builders using decent sized hydraulic cams, perhaps give it a try.
