    Default 5.0 litre advice

I have a 2000 model vs series 111 5.0 litre commodore ute and looking to buy some extractors, exhaust system and potentially a cold air intake for it. Just wondering what brand of exhaust/extractors are best? which brand etc. any other advice would be greatly appreciated!

defilpo exhaust and gforce are top brands, pacemaker 4 into one or tri-y extractors are good too. although you'll be paying a fair bit for them, theyre definitely worth it

    I think tri-y's suit the 5 litre down to a T

Torquey motor so why not make more of it at lower revs

Tri Y extractors, hi flow metal cat and a single 2 1/2" Manta system with no rear resonator. I can do this system for $990 shipped.

Here is a clip of one I did on a sedan. Videos Posted by Southwest Performance Exhaust: Jul 9, 2011 5:37am | Facebook

i think that might be the way to go mate, i'm just a bit concerned about it being too loud? as its my daily driver i dont really want the hassle of being pulled over for the noise. Have any of your customers had any troubles with the law after getting this system?
    cheers again

I'd get the Manta single 3in with rear reso so its not so droney and noisey

Also add dual tips and it will sound great
