308 price

Hey all, i've been searching round for a 308 and i've found a add.

"holden black 308 engine with tri- matic trans $650 ono"

im yet to find out more details but im just wondering, what price range would you buy a 308 at?

yeah good value. even as a rebuilder the trans is worth 300

depends mate if you want bolt ons and that, usually (ebay wise) i see them for about 1400+... some go for like 900 but threy the basic block in shitty condidition with high kms...

so i'd be grabbing the one you saw

Just for future reference, if it's a black motor, it is actually a 304, even though it will have 308 cast into the block. Only the reds were 308.
