heyy everyone,

i have an ls1 vy calais, its all stock. im wishing and hoping to make a min of 300rwkw. i was thinking of putting extractors, twin 2.5 exhaust, cam 232/234 and new cam bearing, OTR, MAFLESS. does anyone think that this will be enough to make that?

with that size cam your going to need a stall converter which will rob some power, although with cam alone I don't think you'll reach that target if you added ported cylinder heads you will see your goal

Yeah I though I might need but wouldn't if I made that target and also upgrade the roller rockers. Is it okay and save to port the stock heads?

yea mate you can get yours ported - CNC is a better option

or even better get some aftermarket heads - dart/trickflow/AFR
