Standard efi t/body on top of carby stlye manifold? -304

Was interested in putting a carby manifold on my 304 Vs commo, and using a adapter plate and bolting the original throttle body on, obviously il drill the injector holes/bosses

Now I don't see why it shouldn't work?
Has any1 else tried this?

Or am I better off going to a Holley 4bbl throttle body?

might aswell put a 4 barrel throttle on it probably easier

Looks fairly simple to do the 4bbl set up, says they use the original sensors plugs :-)
Might have to invest
