Need advice on 308 blocks?

Hay I'm new to this but Im looking to buy a 308 block and build up, but never touched a v8 before I don't want to do the bottom end so where could I buy a block that's already been beefed up? Any advice would be great thanks

what car will you be putting the engine in? as the engine will need to be the same build date (of the car) or newer..
