Hi all,
Ive got a mild 308 in my VK.Flat top pistons 30 thou over, mild cam, pacemaker headers into 2.5 mandrel exhaust joining to one three inch before diff and a holley 600.Am vurrently running standard red heads and a torker manifold. Its currently making 132 kw and 677 nm torque.
Next week i will be putting on big valve black heads that have been ported and polished. The heads also came with a standard four barrel manifold that has also had a bit of grinding work done to it.
Am i better off with the torker or the holden manifold??

Standard manifold would probably choke up the heads but will most likely perform well 1000-4000rpm range, where the torker will perform better in the 3000-6000 range and be able to supply the heads with more air/fuel where it needs it most
considering the rest of the engine spec's the factory ported manifold will be a better match then the torker manifold. the torker manifold has very short runners and is designed for a rev happy engine.

The Brock manifold is the go op if you can get one otherwise the performer is the next obvious option.
The torker is too big for your application as mentioned above also
My matchported Performer was good for 115mph from 207rwkw in a full weight 308(cc272 cam,4200stall,4.11's)VH sl/e.
Sweet as,How do you tell a brock manifold from a standard one?
