    Default vs 308 prblems!!! help.

    hi guys, just driving down the main road today, and the old girl just died on me, pulled over , all the dash lights come on and she trys to kick over but dosent start... couple days ago i started her and she splutterd and carried on. but was fine till now, wether its related i dont know?? any ideas before i spend any cash on a machanic. cheers guys>

    Ignition module maybe? Easiest way to find out is trying another one. Or if ur handy with a soldering iron most are pretty easy to fix as it's probably just a dry solder.

    cheers for help lads, got the machanic out to do a diagnostic and yep, the ignition module is farkt, new one on the way! cheers for help, mabey a turbo or supercharge kit on the cards next.

    95% of the time when a car .... commodore 5.0l dies at the drop of a hat its to do with the ignition module, i even had similar probs with the ecotec

    yeah she hasnt had any probs , so was a bit unxpected. new one getting put in tomoza. cheers

    well got ignition module replaced, ended up being the coil! replaced it now running fine! cheers
