Default Edelbrock 4 barrel throttle body 1000cfm ed3878

I'm looking into getting one of these to go ontop of my torque power manifold.

So far I've figured out it will fit and it comes with a iac and tps included. What I can't seem to find out it how im going to hook up my throttle cable.

Do I need to make up my own bracket? Change cables etc? If someone that has used one that knows that would be great.

I have an injection perfection one for when i efi my vh, it came with a standard vh cable.
What sort of mount options do you have for the throttle body? you might get away with an early commodore cable and bracket seeing as it's essentially a carby shape setup you're going to use.

Well i havent got the tb yet so im not sure. But im sure someone has had to install one of these before in a 2nd gen. I just want to know if its worth buying without a bracket/cable then trying to figure out how to get one.

Just curious as I'm in the same boat myself can you keep the stock cable? The stock one will reach but is there any other problem that may cause?

stock one reaches no problems, only thing you need to do is extend the iac and tps wires

for those with autos, you can use this: Holley Performance Products GM AOD Kickdown Cable Bracket#20-95 to hook up your detent cable. otherwise manuals stock cables will fit.
