traction won't turn off??? monaro

just bought a 02 cv8 monaro v2. has pacemakers, twin 2.5 inch. vx gts 19s, it's silver and it's auto. isn't a power house but is being used as a family daily. . . fuel sits at 15.5l/100km. wen I hit the traction control button it does nothing. through it into around about and tryed to power through and it just died. other thing is the pulleys or belt seem noisy, any advice would be great. thanks

Check the switch is plugged in. When I forgot to reconnect mine I couldn't turn trac control off.

I'd take the belts off and spin the tensioners. One or both are probably noisy.

just had to press the front or top part of the button. it's just a bit temperamental. would 25% under drive pulleys solve my problem of squeaking or would I have to replace the tensioners them selves??
