what chev parts fit

Hi just wondering what parts interchange between the 304 Holden motors and sb chevy motors I have a friend in the states who would source and send parts for me after ideas just thinking there may be more range over there

Some cranks, pistons and rods can fit with a bit of modification if you are looking at a stroker
and of course valve springs are interchangable from most of the SBC's

Do roller rockers cam followers etc swap over?

As Darren said, you can only buy Chev parts for a Holden V8 if you're going 355. Then you can use Chev rods and pistons with a Holden stroker crank (with Chev rod journals). Chev and Holden also share the same valve springs as said but that's about where the interchangeable parts stops.

The lifters are similar but not the same.

Everything else is different.
