Hello

I have a 304 efi from I think the engine is VS the ecu VQ and theengine loom is from VT (dignostic plug) under the steering colum and its in a Nissan patrol 4wd

now every now and then it will pre ignite when shut off, so I am wondering if the timing needs to be checked

if I have this corect you need to pin out the dignostic plug before checking the timing visa a timing light ?? and what wires need to be pinned and how do I pin them ?
