    Default welch plugs 5.0

    whats the easiest DIY way to remove welch plugs from a 5.0l block? what tools ect ect?

    Assuming the engine is out, get a small screw driver, smack it thru the plug with a hammer. Tilt the screw driver sideways a bit and ease the plug out.

    As above but use a punch if you have one, just hut it on one side and it should spin out.. Don't hurt your poor screwdrivers

    yeah ive tried the above methods but theyre pretty bloody tight! blocks out reap! do ya hit them so they spin in their seat or what? ive tried several angles and theyre startin to shit me!

    the blocks been chem cleaned/ hot tanked...what eva u wana call it....would this cause them to say...fuse to the block or not? they are the original plugs
