question for an experianced performance mech
ive put a fully manualised vs four speed with a 3200 stall into my vt 304, it gives me some probs such as lag shifting up an down gears, from third back to second it snappes beautifull,i put up with that for the time being knowing that i was getting my heads machined for tripple springs an roller rockers an a 11 2 comp ratio with a big lumpy hydrollic roller cam............what can i do to sort out the gearbox an get it snappin gears, wiring? re graph? solin oids?

The kalmaker software can change the shift points on a standard 4L60E,

with stage 3 (fully manualised) it shouldn't be 'lagging' in the up or down change. I presume you done the shift kit without upgrading other parts of the box?

Put a manual in it, and then its your foot and arm that decide when its in what gear haha
lol, cheers boys, yeah manual conversion next but for know man ive seen these go hard when done right an workin well, aye munz na i havent had it tuned proply yet due to the final mods only goner be done after monday, ive been told the dyno can increase line pressure an change shift points so if it all goes well ive been told i should pull late11s early12s on the quarter, thanks for the theorys boys, ill keep yas posted once i find out an if it doesnt work out as planned,brass button manual will be goin sraight in that arvo.
