Holden 304 heads group a????

Hi there people a mate just brought a set of heads and he was told

that there group a they have a casting number at the front of the

head it is 13g0 and one at the back 92050019. . I have a set of

group a heads but there at my engine builders so i cant compare

is there any way you can tell if they are or not. . . .

hi the group a ones i have seen have a oval d shaped exhaust port where as standard ones have square shapped exhaust port!

Look in Reapers VP thread he posted pictures of his D port heads just the other day

cheers boys your legends is there anyway of checking heads via the numbers on them

You wont need to it will be obvious comparing the exhaust ports on them, even via a picture. The standard head looks alot different

lol just spoke to him then and he said the ports are square lol so there only normal 304 heads lucky he got them for a good price

Just out of interest fellers, Group A VN head's part number ends in 757

dunno i will check mine on tuesday i know mine are vn group A because i removed them from a written off vn GROUP A i got the heads and the twin throttles for $5500
